This was written my senior year of high school to my mom. My english teaher entered it in a contest and amazingly i won! Still can’t figure out why, its just how i fealt at the time.

I would have to say that i think im mask 4. I love detail in stories without it i cant really follow what they are talking about. detail brings color to the story and understanding for sure. colorful writings are so omuch more affective when it comes to grabbing your audiences attention without the details in the story im pretty sure the person or persons would be bored and probabaly get distracted easily. I myself may not always bring all the detail out in my writings but im usually feeling rushed so i put as much as i can for the time being then go back and add more. Detail in a writing is what sets the story apart from another, if everything was the same who would want to read it??

For the most part the people in my group said they thought my blog was good detail but needed more depth. They also said they liked that it was a personal experience instead of something lame. I need to work on more detail of what he looks like now opposed to what he looked like 3 months ago, for example, his looks, smell, feel, and color.

Ok to be honest I hate reading in front of people. I turn red and voice becomes shakie. I feel like an idiot, because i don’t know what the others will think about what I wrote.

Sitting here observing my nephew Luke Jr. is quite interesting. He is so small and innocent, just like the rest of the world was when they were so small. Will he be a brat and stubborn like his dad is and was. Or will he be like his mom quiet and timid? Hopefully it will be a mixture of the two. Or maybe he won’t be like either of them and just be himself. who knows what the future holds for him all i know is that I love him! He is beautiful in every way. The color of his eyes are changing from a dark brown color to a more hazel color just like his dads. In my opinion brown/hazel eyes are the best! He is getting so big his pants don’t fit him and they look like capris. Its amazing to see how much he’s grown in the past four months considering he was six weeks pre-mature and on oxygen for about a month and a half. It doesnt seem like its been 4 months thats for sure its amazing how time flies when you’re having fun! I can’t wait to see how he turns out when he’s all grown up. Its exciting to know that one day he’ll be talking and walking around. CAN”T WAIT!!

Large, small, tall, short, colorful, wooden, fit inside eachother to make one, lady-bug, strawberry, flower on front, come apart at the middle, all have shawls on their heads, polka dots on heads.

Eating like an Owl…

When I think of an owl all I can think about is when i was in eighth grade and we had to disect owl pellets. All I can say is GROSE!!!! It was the most disgusting thing that I’d ever done. I really don’t need to think about how an owl eats because just the thought groses me out. They eat all kinds of grose stuff, rodents, bugs. Just writing about it makes me squirmy. I guess eating like an owl would be pretty interesting, they catch their food with their claws which is pretty neat if you ask me. Im pretty sure if I tried that at home I’d get slapped, eating with your feet isn’t very attractive. Another thing that I don’t think would be cool is eating a rodent, rodents are dirty and eat pretty much anything and everything, so in turn You are what you eat. No thanks, that doesn’t sound very appetizing to me!
